We are starting to see that there are those that want to stop this creature cold and so suggestions are made. It also appears that the commenters have assigned this creature as a "she", which is interesting. But only time will tell as the saga is only written as it unfolds. The fate is in not only the people of union county, but the armed forces, the professor and even the LHS, itself.
